Description
DooTEMP08 is a software interface for
Midon Design's TEMP05/TEMP08 sensor
logging units that work with one-wire networks. DooTEMP08 can be installed as a
stand-alone application and/or as a plug-in for
HomeSeer®. The plug-in requires HomeSeer
Version 1.7 or later.
Main Application Features
- Provides a software interface for TEMP05/TEMP08/LOG08 units by
midon design providing more control
over a one-wire network.
- Supports a virtually unlimited number of units and one-wire devices.
- Communications Terminal for controlling units using TEMP05/TEMP08/LOG08
commands.
- Supports three basic types of one-wire devices used by the TEMP05/TEMP08/LOG08
units: sensors, relays, and switches.
- There are device lists for sensors, relays, and switches for a quick overview
of the properties and status of each device.
- A Device Viewer can be opened for each device and placed anywhere on your
desktop. The viewers are updated in real-time and the program remembers which
device viewers were open when the program is shut down. These viewers are reopened
when application is restarted.
- Stores status changes of one-wire devices in a Microsoft Access Database
(Microsoft Access need not be installed).
- Includes charting capabilities that allow line charts to be displayed for
specific types of data.
- You can save the configuration of the current chart as a "Favorite" and
view it later.
- Ability to view DooTEMP08 database records
including sensor activity and debug log entries and perform simple database
management.
- Supports use of custom actions via embedded scripting code (Custom Action
Code) that is executed based upon.
- Full-featured VBScript script editor for editing Custom Action Code.
- Free plug-in for HomeSeer.
- Built-in web server. Note that this is mainly for home network use.
- Windows and web interface (WEB PAGES ARE CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT). For
HomeSeer users, web interface can be accessed with HomeSeer's web server.
- Scripting API for using DooTEMP08 with external scripts.
- Application logging and communication logging for each installed unit.
- Windows or Web-based interface is available for all features.
DooTEMP08 Plug-In for HomeSeer Features
- Supports triggers, actions, and conditions within HomeSeer® Events.
- Various communication functions can be performed using plug-in device controls.
- Web-based interface can be viewed using HomeSeer's web server in addition
to or instead of DooTEMP08's built-in web server.
